  13. CUPERTINO, California--November 2, 1993--Apple Computer, Inc. today
  14. announced the Apple Color Plus Display, a 14-inch RGB display
  15. designed to complement Apple's new crop of aggressively priced
  16. personal computer models.
  17.     Introduced at $305, the new 640 X 480 pixel display has a 67 Hz
  18. refresh rate that is ideally suited to customers who require
  19. performance and value.  The Color Plus Display features a .28mm dot
  20. pitch and non-interlaced scanning technology that is designed to
  21. ensure minimum screen flicker while providing vibrant colors and
  22. crisp, easy to read text, even during extended use.
  23.     "The combination of Apple's recently introduced desktop computers
  24. based on the Motorola 68040 microprocessor and the Apple Color Plus
  25. Display provides superior value for our users,"  said Carlos
  26. Montalvo, product line manager in Apple's Macintosh Desktop Division.

  28. performance 14-inch RGB display with the Apple brand quality."
  29.     The Apple Color Plus Display is designed to "plug and play" with all
  30. Apple Macintosh computers.  The Apple Color Plus Display meets strict
  31. magnetic field emission guidelines and is shipped with a tilt &
  32. swivel stand.

  34. authorized resellers in the U.S. and in select markets in Europe and
